I have no connection with Evernote, other than having been a user for 15 years. Any prejudices expressed here are all my own.

Responding to others in the forums I seem to keep on having to say the same things rather often. This is my attempt to simplify that with a set of standard help thoughts.

  1. When you ask for help or ideas in the forums, please explain what device / OS / Evernote version you have, plus what you're trying to do, what results you see, and what you've done so far to try and fix it. (Screenshots are nice too.)

  2. If you have any issues with payments, security or data loss, remember that the forums are (mainly) supported by users. We don't have access to any account information or system logs. You need to report your issue to Evernote Support. Subscribers via https://help.evernote.com/hc/requests/new; Basic via https://twitter.com/evernotehelps or the Settings > Support link in any mobile client.

  3. To make suggestions or give general feedback use feedback@evernote.com - you won't normally get a response.

  4. While you're waiting for a response from Support or the forums, try these self-help options -

    • Update to the latest Evernote version from https://evernote.com/download or your mobile store.
    • Sign out of everything and power your device off and on again
